A 12 V DC motor drives up and down a moving mass along the vertical axis of the ball. This motor and its control software are protected in the waterproof Wave Ball shell. Thanks to the sensors signals, a control software analyses in real time the ball movements, the waves characteristics and their frequency and amplitude. A very precise and clever adjustment of the motor speed creates the selected wave type.
The Wave Ball's force on the water, inducted by the mass movements, creates the first wave which spreads through the pool. Once reflected by the walls, this wave comes back towards the ball. The control unit accurately determines the moment and the speed to give to the next movement in order to amplify (or reduce) the waves.

They spread towards the pool walls and are then reflected. |

The waves are amplified by each movement of the ball. |
During the Wave Ball installation, several types of waves are tested and analysed. Four of them can be chosen and their characteristics memorised in the control software. A single push on the corresponding button on the remote control unit is enough to activate them.

Before installation, our simulation programs will have shown you the animation possibilities in your pool.
